DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY:
Erasmus Life Porto is a non-profit organization and our main goal is to make students feel like at home and to make their exchange experience unforgettable. We organize several trips from north to south, many local activities and multiple parties a week in the best clubs in Porto.
LOCATION: Porto (Portugal)
MINIMUM DURATION: 3 months
START DATE: As soon as possible
AREA: BUSINESS - Tourism
REQUIREMENTS:
-Passionate about nightlife culture, social events, and party planning.
-Comfortable working late-night hours and in fast-paced social environments.
-Friendly, outgoing, and confident in talking to groups and individuals.
-Comfortable promoting events in person and online.
-Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines, especially during high-pressure event days.
-Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook (posting stories, reels, tagging, etc.).
-Fluent in english
Bonus Skills (Not required but beneficial):
-basic content creation skills like photography, videography.
-Previous experience in hospitality, events, or promotions.
-Graphic design, content creation, or event marketing knowledge.
TASKS:
- Assist with the planning and execution of weekly parties, pub crawls, open bar dinners, and special events.
- Support setup and breakdown at venues.
- Help manage entry flow, check-ins, and ticket validation.
- Welcome and guide guests during events, ensuring a smooth and fun experience.
- Actively promote events in-person and via digital communities (e.g., WhatsApp groups, Instagram, Facebook groups).
- Assist with creating and posting Instagram Stories, reels, and TikToks before, during, and after events.
- Distribute flyers and posters at targeted local spots
- Engage with potential customers and promote upcoming events.
- Research competing nightlife events and trends in the area
- Help brainstorm new concepts based on interests and trends.
WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week
